Relax, unwind and listen to the sounds of the many varieties of birds including quail, tui and morepork (New Zealand’s native owl) as well as sheep,cattle and the waterfall garden beside the lodge. From the lodge you will be able to watch the swans and ducks on and off the pond and on occasions, royal spoonbill and a pair of blue herons. More frequently viewed are our dogs, Willow a black Labrador and Maisie a long haired Jack Russell, who often chase each other around the garden.
